New career path?

Empty nester?

Recently divorced?

Healing from trauma?

Feeling stuck and don't know that steps to take to get unstuck?

These are ALL reasons to have a Mindset Coach.

Even as a professional trainer and mentor, I can fall victim to procrastination or take the more manageable, less fulfilling road. I spent years doing the same thing, unhappy and feeling I was meant for more, but I didn’t know what “more” was or where to start.

Does this sound familiar? Let me share my story and how I found my “more” after accidentally finding my coach.

A few months after returning to South Florida from living in Costa Rica, I contacted a friend

whose podcast, A Time to Shine Today, I had been a guest on during Covid, and he invited me to coffee. As he often boasts, I was his first welcoming friend when he moved to Florida, something he has always appreciated and has grown into a 10-year friendship. I wanted to ask him about rental properties in the area, but the conversation took another direction, which changed my life.

After bringing him up to date on my recent life changes, Scott Ferguson, “Ferg” as he’s known, asked me one powerful question...

“What have I always wanted to do in my life that I have yet to achieve and why?”

This question was targeted to hit something deep in my soul, and it did just that. “I’ve always envisioned myself standing on stage in a full auditorium speaking to people,” I answered.

It’s true; I had always carried this vision with me, although I never really knew what it meant, nor did I even know how to begin to accomplish it. Scott asked me to elaborate, and as I did, he noticed how my posture changed as I spoke and my eyes lit up. Within that conversation, a new direction in my life had revealed itself.

He had brought to light something

I couldn’t see for myself.

Deciding to take me on as a coaching and motivational speaking mentee, Scott explained that this would be a personal and challenging yet life-changing journey and that if I wasn’t committed to changing my life and the lives of others, I should not begin down this path with him.

Always up for growth and a challenge, I asked,

“When do we start?”

Ferg and I would dive deep into a coaching practice over the next few months, meeting once a week and communicating daily with a Performance Protocol. Over the last four months, I have read five books, studied, and communicated with many successful coaches. I have stepped out of my comfort zone in more ways than I can list and achieved more milestones these last five months than I could have envisioned.

Now, not all coaching is as intense and time-consuming as mine. He had high expectations, I had high standards, and I had time on my side.

What about this “coaching” ignites such a fire in my soul? What about it would cause me to do rigorous studying for hours on end and seek out the best to learn from?

Well, simply put, IT WORKS!

What is mindset coaching?

Well, I can start by telling you what I won’t do. I will not tell you what you should do with your life and what changes you should make. I will guide you in figuring that out for yourself. I've witnessed firsthand the incredible journey of self-discovery and empowerment. Through my coaching, individuals uncover their inner strength, transcending obstacles with newfound clarity and resilience. I take a head-on approach, helping clients find solutions with unwavering determination.

Together, we navigate the complexities of life, turning challenges into opportunities for growth.

Guiding others to harness their innate power, I've witnessed transformations that inspire and humble me. It's a privilege to witness individuals emerge victorious, living healthy, strong, sober lives filled with hope and purpose, knowing that I’ve played a part in their journey toward fulfillment.

Who is coaching for? EVERYONE.

Coaching is perfect for anyone who feels stuck in a rut and knows they are meant for more but doesn’t know what “more” is or how to achieve it. Someone ready to make a life change but is scared to go at it alone—someone who isn’t afraid to go deep within themselves, self-reflect, and do the work—a person who is ready to change their life.

I’ve seen multiple therapists over the last four years to help deal with traumas in my life. While two of them have helped me find ways to identify patterns and deal with PTSD issues, coaching has been more helpful than any of them.

While therapy focuses more on the PAST and healing wounds, coaching focuses on your FUTURE, discovering your dreams and goals, and helping you achieve them.

Having embarked on this deep inner work, I can personally and confidently say that it has changed my life more than any therapy thus far, and I take my clients on this journey as well.
