Tips to start your day, and your mood, in a positive direction so you can achieve more!
We have all had one of THOSE mornings!
Everything seemed to be going wrong from the minute we forgot to set the alarm, spilled coffee on our shirts, stepped in the neighbor's dog poop while walking our dog, and dropped the kids off late for school.
Were you feeling stressed just reading about it?
Well, fret no more!
I have a few tips that have helped me to start my day off in a positive mindset, with a calm yet focused mood, and help to ward off any anxiety that may be creeping in as the day unfolds.

First, I get up EARLY! Rarely do I sleep past 5 am. I make sure I give myself time to get ready to work peacefully.
I do not rush.
Second, 5 minutes after my alarm sounds,
my @Peptalk app alarm begins to play.
THIS IS A MUST!!
While getting ready for work, I listen to the motivational speeches of all the great speakers. With this alone, being in a bad mood is nearly impossible!
This also keeps me from hopping onto social media and allowing the negative opinions of others to take up free rent in my head first thing in the morning and put me in a bad mood.
Third, I prepare my coffee or tea, whichever choice of a morning cup to fuel or ground you. I have been enjoying 1 cup of @gevalia majestic roast coffee with 1 Truvia.
Providing comfort in the morning, it allows me time to reflect as I text my coach my
“Morning Gratitude Protocol”

( I recommend cultivating any type of gratitude practice for 5 minutes, journaling, sitting in stillness, reflecting, etc.)
Fourth, I prepare my pre-workout meal. It's early, and like most people, I don't always feel like eating this early but: eating is a MUST before working out!

My go-to is a @Sprouts Vegan protein shake with @Momentous creatine. I eat 2 @quakeroats Apple & cinnamon rice cakes with a tablespoon of sugar-free @good-good jelly on each.
This meal is light and will burn off quickly once I begin to exercise, which is usually within 30 minutes of eating it.
Along with this meal I take my morning #supplements.

These vary from time to time, but my morning staples are:
@neocell collagen, @zenwise digestive enzymes, @designsforhealth DHEA, and any brand of vitamin D3 to help you absorb calcium and phosphate from foods .
All this, and the actual workout itself, allow me to start my day the way I want to. I can ward off any stressors first thing, any negativity, and regulate my nervous system.
If you own your morning,
you own your mind!
