When I was a 12yr old little girl, I always wanted to be a model.
So my parents took me to King of Prussia mall to meet with an agent at Horizon Model Company. I remember the drive down, the long walk through the hidden hallways within the mall and the desk where I sat across from the most important person in the world
to me in that moment. I also remember them telling me to come back when I was
taller because of my scoliosis and didn’t have braces anymore.
Dream squashed.
Yet, I always had this vision in the back of my mind of me standing on a stage somewhere looking out over hundreds of people.
I had continually pushed it into the back of my mind because I didn’t know what it meant.
As I grew up, I was told I “had a way with certain kids.” So I became a teacher.
Gradually, having a love of sports, that naturally morphed into a position as a
Phys. Ed. Teacher and Aquatics Director until I moved to Florida and became a
Having back issues my whole life, I really dove into trying to find ways to
strengthen my muscles and feel better, not only to put off surgery, but to
continue to do the things I loved to do.

I also loved meeting new people, helping them achieve their goals and spreading love and positivity to the best of my ability. (I admit, I too am not the most positive person all the time!)
Throughout my life there have been many personal struggles behind the scenes.
Whether it be living independently as a new female business owner, tragic losses
of loved ones, unhealthy romantic relationships, sobriety… the list goes on and
we will get into ALL of that in the future.
Yet throughout all of it, one thing has
remained a constant… I ALWAYS FELT I WAS MEANT FOR MORE!!
After my most recent trauma, something in me cracked open once the dust began
to settle. Having been a strong, independent single woman most of my life, I
realized this time was different.
This time I couldn’t do it on my own.
This time taught me to lean on other women when I am not strong enough to stand on my
own. It taught me that it’s ok to need and ask for help sometimes.
It taught me that:
We, as women, can do hard things and we are stronger when we do them together.
THAT is when it all clicked… I WAS meant for more!

I was meant to share what I have learned from all these experiences with other
people to help them in return. To teach them to find their inner strength,
courage and resilience. I want to help other people take control of their mind,
body, heart and soul and know that it’s ok to set boundaries in order to do that. I
want to inspire the youth to go after their dreams and listen to that little
voice or vision in their mind that tells them they are meant for more too.
It’s ok not to know what it means…but someday you will and I hope to have given you
the strength and encouragement by that time to pursue it!
I aim to help anyone in mid-life, business, post-divorce or recent empty nesters
I am very happy to announce that, in addition to fitness and nutrition:
I will be adding Coaching & Motivational Speaking to the DB Wellbeing brand!!

Welcome to my world! I’m very glad to have you by my side in this next chapter!
Love, Debi Borger
